In 2023, Pluskim proudly took its place at the UTECH Middle East Foam and Polyurethane Fair in Dubai, one of the most prestigious events in the polyurethane and foam industries. This international fair brought together system houses, raw material producers, machinery manufacturers, footwear companies, insulation experts and automotive suppliers from across the globe. For Pluskim, being present in Dubai once again demonstrated our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.
Throughout the exhibition, we showcased our polyurethane systems, prepolymers, polyester polyols, elastomers, and solvent-free adhesives developed for various sectors such as footwear, insulation, automotive, furniture, flexible and rigid foam industries. Visitors showed great interest in our high-performance shoe sole systems, lightweight flexible foams, durable rigid PU insulation materials, and tailor-made chemical solutions.
Dubai and the wider Middle Eastern region hold strategic importance for polyurethane applications, especially in construction insulation, refrigeration, footwear, transportation, and energy-efficient building systems. By attending UTECH 2023, Pluskim strengthened business relationships with manufacturers, distributors, raw material suppliers, and technology partners from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and beyond.
What set Pluskim apart was our Application Center and high-pressure machine capabilities, which allow us to test customized polyurethane formulations under real production conditions. This approach ensures that every solution we offer is not only chemically advanced but also highly compatible with industrial manufacturing processes.
During the fair, important topics such as recyclable PU materials, VOC reduction, circular economy practices, sustainable insulation systems, and next-generation footwear technologies were widely discussed. Pluskim once again highlighted its guiding principle: “Chemistry for Good”—creating chemical solutions that add value to life, industry, and the environment.
