In 2021, Pluskim proudly took its place at the Polyurethanex Moscow Polyurethane Industry Fair, one of Eastern Europe’s most important international exhibitions dedicated to polyurethane technologies. The event gathered raw material manufacturers, system houses, machinery suppliers, automotive and construction industries, insulation producers, and footwear material specialists, offering a valuable environment for innovation, networking, and industrial collaboration.
During the fair, Pluskim showcased its comprehensive product portfolio including polyurethane systems, prepolymers, polyester polyols, solvent-free adhesives, elastomers, and customized formulations developed for various industries such as shoe manufacturing, flexible foam, insulation, automotive, furniture, and industrial applications. Visitors were especially interested in Pluskim’s expanding capacity, which had reached 50,000 tons annually, thanks to polyester polyol production and investments in prepolymer technologies.
Russia and surrounding markets present strategic importance for polyurethane applications due to the rapid growth in construction insulation, automotive components, refrigeration systems, and shoe production. By participating in Polyurethanex 2021, Pluskim strengthened its relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and raw material suppliers across Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Eastern Europe.
The fair also provided an important platform to highlight Pluskim’s R&D strength and system house approach. With advanced laboratory infrastructure, the company develops customized polyurethane systems that offer enhanced mechanical strength, hydrolysis resistance, lower density, improved thermal performance, and superior bonding properties. These solutions ensure process compatibility for both high-pressure machines and manual casting systems.
Throughout the exhibition, important industry topics such as eco-friendly PU formulations, VOC reduction, recyclable materials, energy-efficient insulation solutions, and circular economy practices were widely discussed. In this context, Pluskim once again emphasized its guiding principle: “Chemistry for Good” — creating chemical solutions that support industries while protecting the environment and human health.
Being part of the 2021 Polyurethanex Fair was more than a commercial presence; it represented Pluskim’s commitment to becoming a global and reliable solution partner in polyurethane chemistry. With every fair, research project, and new capacity investment, Pluskim continues to grow stronger in international markets.
We look forward to future Polyurethanex events, bringing even more innovative technologies, higher capacities, and sustainable solutions to the global polyurethane industry.
