To meet the increasing global demand in the flexible foam and footwear industries, Pluskim successfully expanded its annual production capacity by 20,000 tons. This strategic investment strengthened our ability to deliver high-performance polyurethane systems and solidified our role as a reliable solution partner in both local and international markets.
This capacity increase was particularly focused on polyurethane systems used in the flexible foam industry—including furniture, mattresses, insulation, and packaging—as well as the shoe and sole manufacturing sector. These industries require materials with consistent density, elasticity, durability, and strong bonding properties. With the enhanced production capabilities, Pluskim became able to respond faster to customer demands while offering more customized and stable formulations.
Beyond volume, this investment reflected our commitment to technology-oriented manufacturing. New system lines, advanced mixing units, and improved laboratory infrastructure allowed us to produce tailor-made PU systems, prepolymers, and shoe sole solutions with higher precision and quality control. This expansion also optimized our logistics processes, reduced delivery times, and increased supply reliability for our partners.
Furthermore, growing our capacity by 20,000 tons per year enabled Pluskim to strengthen its presence in shoe manufacturing hubs such as Turkey, Italy, Spain, Morocco, and Egypt, while supporting flexible foam producers across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. As a result, our export volume and international collaborations reached a new level of consistency.
