What is Profile Injection
In aluminium and PVC joinery, a significant share of heat loss happens through the air cavities inside the profiles. Pluskim's two-component rigid polyurethane injection systems are injected into profile and frame cavities, expand into every corner and fill the space with closed-cell insulating foam.
The result is higher thermal performance for windows, doors and facades, a stiffer profile and improved acoustic insulation. Because reactivity can be matched to the injection machine and line speed, the system can be applied either after frame assembly or in-line.
