What is Roof Insulation
Roofs face the most severe weather conditions and temperature extremes, which makes them a primary source of building energy loss. The PLUSOL R-102-xx roof formulation is engineered to stop that heat transfer while reinforcing the structural integrity of the roofing system.
Its low viscosity keeps the transfer pumps of spraying machinery running smoothly, and it bonds permanently to diverse roofing substrates including wood, bare concrete and corrugated metal sheet. Specialised polyether components and next-generation blowing agents improve the load-bearing capacity of the foam.
Typical Values
Values apply to the standard system; figures for a line-specific formulation are agreed together.
| Chemistry | 2K spray polyurethane |
|---|---|
| Thermal conductivity | 0.023 W/mK |
| Density | 35-50 kg/m³ |
| Fire class | TS EN 13501-1 Class E |
| DIN 4102 class | B2 |
What It Delivers
High density minimises heat loss through the roof
Reaction speed profile suited to inverted roof applications
Strong adhesion to wood, concrete and corrugated metal
Load resistance reinforced with specialised polyether and next-generation blowing agents
Low viscosity; no strain on transfer pumps
Seamless, gap-free insulation layer
Where It Is Used
Roof thermal insulation
Inverted roof applications
Industrial plant roofs
Warehouse and hangar roofs
Metal sheet and concrete roof decks
