Sectional Continuous Polyurethane Raw Material

Polyurethane Systems for Continuous Production

High-performance polyurethane systems developed for continuous and discontinuous production processes are widely used in the industrial door sector. These systems are preferred in various building components such as garage doors, warehouse doors, factory doors, and parking entrance doors, and are specifically optimized for the production of movable, folding, and panel-based door solutions.

Thanks to the sectional continuous polyurethane material structure, homogeneous filling is achieved during production, density distribution is balanced, and consistent mechanical performance is obtained throughout the panel. Polyurethane systems for continuous production are designed to adapt to high production speeds, aiming to deliver efficiency, quality, and process continuity simultaneously.

Advantages of Polyurethane Door Systems

Polyurethane door systems provide significant advantages for both manufacturers and end users. The rigid polyurethane foam structure, which offers high mechanical strength, increases the load-bearing capacity of door panels and enables long-term use. This feature supports structural safety, particularly in industrial environments exposed to intensive use.

Due to their low thermal conductivity coefficient, polyurethane systems provide excellent thermal insulation. This minimizes energy losses and delivers substantial energy savings for facilities, while also helping to maintain stable indoor temperatures and creating a more controlled working environment.

The closed-cell polyurethane foam structure minimizes water and moisture absorption. As a result, it offers high resistance to harsh environmental conditions and helps door panels maintain their structural integrity for many years. Its lightweight yet durable structure reduces wear on door mechanisms, lowering maintenance costs.

Fire resistance is another important advantage of polyurethane door systems. Formulations developed in accordance with EN 13501-1 standards can be designed to meet fire safety requirements. In addition, their sound-insulating properties reduce noise levels, contributing to more comfortable and controlled workspaces.

Technical Properties of Polyurethane Door Systems

Polyurethane systems used in industrial door applications are developed according to specific technical criteria. Polyurethane density typically ranges between 38–45 kg/m³, providing an ideal balance between lightweight structure and mechanical strength.

The thermal conductivity coefficient ranges from 0.020–0.023 W/mK, ensuring high insulation performance. A closed-cell ratio of 90–95% keeps water absorption below 2%, reducing the risk of moisture-related deformation.

With compressive strength values exceeding 150 kPa, these systems maintain panel shape under load. Fire performance can be provided in accordance with EN 13501-1, class C-s3-d0. These technical characteristics enable polyurethane systems for continuous production to be used safely in industrial door applications.

Flexible Formulations Suitable for Production Processes

Polyurethane systems can be formulated with different component structures depending on the production method and application area. Two-component systems are based on polyol and isocyanate, while three-component systems include catalysts to control reaction time. Four-component systems additionally use blowing agents to achieve the desired cell structure.

Formulations used in continuous production lines are designed with short reaction times and optimal flow characteristics to adapt to high production speeds. This minimizes production downtime and maximizes efficiency in mass production.

In discontinuous production processes, longer gel times and high density stability are prioritized, allowing more controlled and defect-free molding operations. For both production methods, the sectional continuous polyurethane material structure contributes to maintaining a homogeneous quality standard.

Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly Production Approach

Polyurethane systems for continuous production are developed with sustainability criteria in mind. The use of CFC- and HFC-free blowing agents reduces environmental impact and supports a low carbon footprint.

Low VOC emissions improve air quality in production environments, offering advantages in terms of occupational health and safety. The use of recyclable materials and recycled polyester- and prepolymer-based raw materials supports a sustainable production philosophy.

In addition, the low thermal conductivity coefficient improves energy efficiency by minimizing heat losses. These features provide solutions compatible with green building practices and support certification processes such as LEED and BREEAM.

Storage and Handling Recommendations

To maintain performance, polyurethane systems should be stored in their original packaging in dry and cool environments. They should be kept away from direct sunlight and stored in well-ventilated areas. Product shelf life generally ranges between 6 and 12 months from the production date.

Durable and Efficient Solutions for Industrial Doors

Developed for both continuous and discontinuous production processes, our polyurethane systems are designed to deliver high energy efficiency, durability, and long-lasting performance in the industrial door sector. They offer an ideal solution for manufacturers seeking to produce lightweight yet high-strength door panels and can be easily integrated into different production lines thanks to their flexible formulation structures.

Developed with a sustainable production approach and environmentally friendly components, polyurethane systems for continuous production form the foundation of modern industrial door solutions by combining quality, efficiency, and safety.
